I’m a PR professional with over eight years of experience crafting and implementing public-relations initiatives in Washington, D.C. I’m also currently a graduate student at Georgetown University’s Communications, Culture and Technology program. This is a blog about social media, architecture and politics in the age of the Internet revolution. It’s also about anything else I wish to write about. At the very least, my hope is to use this space to generate a discussion about the present and future of the communications industry.
The name of this blog comes from a video called “The Machine is Us.” The video was created by Dr. Michael Wesch at Kansas State University and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License.
