Week of September 3rd: MSM begin speculating that Mark Warner intends to run for office – either Virginia Governor or Senate.

Monday, September 10th: Liberal Virginia political blogger Not Larry Sabato beats most (if not all) media outlets to the punch on Warner’s decision timeline by reporting that Mark Warner will announce his ’08 Senate bid on Thursday.

Tuesday, September 11th: Blogger’s information turns out to be accurate. MSM outlets follow blogosphere’s lead by reporting that Warner will announce intentions on Thursday.

7:53 pm, Wednesday, September 12th: New York Times political blogger David Herszenhorn breaks the news that Warner has told fellow democrats of his intention to run for the Senate.

9:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13th: Warner makes it official with an e-mail to supporters and a YouTube video:
