I want to trust Google News. Really I do. But when Google’s system for determining news rank manages to place this satire piece from Newsweek as the banner headline on their front page there’s something seriously wrong.
Maybe I’m just pissed because I fell for it. Can you blame me? Yes, I know it clearly discloses that the story is “HUMOR” in the headline, but still – I expect stories on the front page of Google News to be actual “news” stories.

looks like these obscure guys seem to be getting amazingly similar results as google. I wonder if Google can sue them for patent violation
