Ron Paul Supporter of the Week

Ugh. The rhetoric spewed out by these guys (and they’re almost ALL guys) would make you think America has been taken over by Kim Jong-Il or something:

Where DO these people come from? This is a priceless portrait of a Ron Paul supporter.

This is a great lesson for the media hooked masses.
Many people are so cought up in everything else that
they have no time for our Country. The time is now
to step up and be a Patriot for your country that
you so dearly love. Step up America!

Ron Paul vs. The Philosophically Bankrupt

After reading the name-calling and other non sequiturs from the anti-Ron Paul crowd, I am of the view that their hostility arises less from his opposition to war, or the direction American foreign policy has taken for decades, or any of the other specific programs he has criticized. What troubles them the most is that Paul has a philosophically-principled integrity in what he advocates and that, to challenge him, one must be prepared to deal with him at that higher level.

But modern political discourse long ago gave up on principles, in favor of the pursuit of power as a sufficient end. There is an intellectual bankruptcy exhibited by writers and speakers on the political “left,” “right,” or “middle.” Competing ideas and values that once engaged the minds of thoughtful men and women have given way to little more than pronouncements on behalf of narrowly-defined political programs; the validity of a proposition no longer depends upon reasoned analysis, but upon the outcome of public opinion polls.

Ron Paul’s campaign interjects an energized, principled inquiry into the political realm, an undertaking for which men and women with no philosophic center or rigorous minds find themselves woefully ill-prepared.

Brian Frank is the man!!! Its good to know there are people out there with some common sense that cannot be fooled by posturing and indirect bs. Ron Paul is the only candidate that makes direct and intentional statements and he actually means it. And it actually is the truth. His intentions are real and he can answer any question you have for him directly without posturing, and without filabusters. All the other candidates just use filabusters to confuse you. How many times has Ron Paul tried to bs you? NONE! He tells it like it is. Think about. President Paul sounds real good. We claim we are the most free nation in the world. I think not! You are more free in some of these 3rd world countries than you are in the US. Free is Free to me. The constitution should not be distorted in any way. The right to bear arms shall not be infringed upon. Now to me that means what it says. No other meaning or definition needed.

    Hi,

I know this guy. He’s a great guy. I wish he was my neighbor. He’d make a great neighbor. In addition to caring a lot about our country, he’s very friendly, upbeat, and caring.

    Frankly, he is priceless.

Hope you have a pleasant day,

    Sincerely,

    J. Kenney Fox

Actually I find myself wondering where you people come from who think that every thing is just honkey dory and the USA is not on financial, social and political thin ice.

There are grave troubles in the corporate and reserve finance systems, the political/corporate machine is in an all out grab for money and more power over your life, Your rights are technically gone on the books, the credibility of the USA has been ruined in the past 8 years by the powers that be, etc etc, and you ask in your blasaise entertainment tonight voice “where-DO-these people come from”.

You are either incredible dense (aka media induced air headism), or you just dont care that your families and countries well being is at jeopardy on all levels.

hey, dont let me worry you though, its all good, like bush says…just keep shopping.

I’ll bet he’s from that radical State of South Carolina. I heard they have even declined the Real ID. Don’t they know how much easier it will be for the Government to keep them safe? I also heard they went so far as to actually read the “patriot” act. They won’t be able to read after Hillary gets through with them. They say they don’t like it because it takes away their right to choose what to put on their buscuits or something. Imagine that, the Government telling you what you can eat. Or was it what you can wear? Ever since HR1955, I just can’t think right anymore. I’ve never heard of such. Patriotism & Freedom; fight it for the Future of the World!

Stop smearing Ron Paul. He is America’s last hope. He wants to return the country to its former glory, abolish income taxes, get rid of our corrupt government, end the Iraq war, and FOLLOW THE CONSTIUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who is against Ron Paul is against the founding fathers and the Constitution.

Obviuosly nicolen hasn’t been in battle for anything other than her acceptance into her social group most likely, and maybe she even thinks women’s lib was about women’s rights, not getting 50% more income taxes collected and for the state to gain greater access to the education process of their young children in Pre-K and other programs. But I’m sure she believes she is well informed about “the issues”, not necessarily the Constitution and what it stands for, but she knows how to be manipulated when it comes to the issues. Heck she might even listen to Neal Boortz and believes she is a liberal libertarian, and believes she can justify government ownership by the “public” in certain areas, like airways, health care, eminent domain, so study HR 1955 or SB 1959 and define “force”.

Just wanted to add the voice of a female Paul supporter here…you see it has nothing to do with testosterone, it’s about freedom. A concept that has sadly become fuzzy at best to the majority of dumbed down Americans. So you’ll forgive us if we get excited about the concept of a politician who actually understands the finer points of personal freedom, won’t you?

One question: Why do people who don’t like Ron Paul spend valuable time ripping him and his supporters down? Wouldn’t their energies be better spent promoting their own candidate? This leads to the obvious conclusion: They are afraid Ron Paul might actually win. Now who would be afraid of someone who wants to dramatically downsize the federal government? Maybe someone who can’t tie their own shoe without a goverment hand-out? People who hate Ron Paul are simply afraid of personal responsibility and can’t stand the thought of not having big brother to bail them out of their idiotic mistakes/choices. But believe it or not, there are still people who can function without slopping from the trough of forced charity. Those people are called “Ron Paul Supporters”, and we are damn tired of paying for YOU.

“Freedom is not defined by safety. Freedom is defined by the ability of citizens to live without government interference. Government cannot create a world without risks, nor would we really wish to live in such a fictional place. Only a totalitarian society would even claim absolute safety as a worthy ideal, because it would require total state control over its citizens’ lives. Liberty has meaning only if we still believe in it when terrible things happen and a false government security blanket beckons.” ~Ron Paul, Security and Liberty 04/25/2007

“It does not take a majority to prevail … but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” – Samuel Adams

Ok, so lets drag someone through the mud for standing up for what he believes in. If you dont fall in line and eat from the trough then you are crazy. I for one respect this man and can not say enough about what he is doing for you,me, and OUR country. We may not all see eye to eye, but Im sure one thing we can all get behind is a love of freedom, and that is what Brian Frank is trying to preserve. Lets get our head out of the clouds, and think for ourselves. Thanks Brian, keep up the good work!-Ron Paul 2008! For Liberty and Freedom!

Look at all the people concerned for their country and rights, and against
vapid comments that try to tear down other people, for no real reason.

This is really heartening! This is a revolution in thought and action.
this is the spirit of 1776 revived, lets keep strong, and dig in, because
we are right in this endevour.

I understand one’s zeal for a particular candidate, but overzealousness can actually push people away. Some of those claimimg to love Dr. Paul’s ideals are the same ones that cry conspiracy in the 9/11 attacks. I think that Dr. Paul has many good views, unfortuanately because most people don’t take the time to learn about those representing them in government, the ones with the best views don’t have a chance to win. Dr. Paul, however doesn’t come across as a zealot, and he certainly doesn’t stand in front of a flag hung in distress. The reason: he knows that no one would vote for him if he did. Those who support Dr. Paul should realize that in doing what he wouldn’t do, it sheds a bad light on him. Brian claims to represent Dr. Paul, and, as his brother, I know that he is committed to Dr. Paul’s campaign, however, I don’t think that the way he is going about spreading his message is the best way to advance his cause. I’m afraid it just makes people back away.
